REWORK_ (Philip Glass Remixed) is an iOS application that presents the collaborative remix album with Beck in an engaging visual format, offering users an immersive interactive experience.

Featuring eleven unique "music visualizers," REWORK_ transforms the remixed tracks into interactive visuals ranging from futuristic three-dimensional landscapes to vivid, fragmented crystals, and dynamic sound wave patterns. Users have the option to passively enjoy REWORK_ from start to finish or actively engage with the visualizers to craft their own visual reinterpretations.

Aside from the mesmerizing visual content, the app showcases the innovative "Glass Machine," enabling users to craft music inspired by Philip Glass' early works. By manipulating two animated discs in tandem, akin to DJ turntables, users can experiment with various instruments – from synthesizers to pianos – creating compelling polyrhythmic interplays between melodies.

The REWORK_ app boasts interactive audiovisual mixes curated by renowned musicians and remix artists such as Beck, Tyondai Braxton, Amon Tobin, Cornelius, Dan Deacon, Johann Johannsson, Nosaj Thing, Memory Tapes, Silver Alert, My Great Ghost, and Peter Broderick.

The concept for the REWORK_ album was conceived during a dialogue between Philip Glass and his collaborator Beck. With producer Hector Castillo onboard, renowned for his work with artists like David Bowie and Björk, a stellar lineup of critically acclaimed artists – including Beck himself, Tyondai Braxton, Amon Tobin, Cornelius, Dan Deacon, Johann Johannsson, Nosaj Thing, Memory Tapes, Silver Alert, Pantha du Prince, My Great Ghost, and Peter Broderick – joined forces to remix Glass' compositions.

Complementing the album release, Snibbe Studio – known for creating Björk's Biophilia app – developed the REWORK_ application to provide fans with an interactive musical venture.
